Mini Dental Implants
Mini Dental Implants have changed the way we look at implant dentistry. A Titanium alloy essentially replaces the root. A porcelain crown or denture is then created to replace the missing teeth or stabilize the denture.

There are many benefits to using the Mini Dental Implant system as apposed to the Traditional Dental Implant system.

Less Costly

Mini Dental Implants are about half the cost of traditional implants.

Most everyone is a candidate

Traditional implants require a much larger hole to accommodate the size of the larger implant and thus a 4 to 6 month healing time is required for the implant to stabilize enough to place the crown or denture. Mini implants are smaller and self-taping which means the way they are placed initiates stability and the healing time is reduced to 4 to 6 weeks. A temporary crown is placed at the time of implant placement.
Unlike Traditional implants, Mini Dental Implants rarely require bone grafting or sinus lifting procedures.

Less Invasive

Many patients who are not candidates for traditional implants due to extensive bone loss, are candidates for the Mini Dental Implants because the mini implants require less residual bone.
